Returns & Refund Policy

Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major failure, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement. For a non-major problem, we may provide an appropriate remedy within a reasonable time. This policy does not limit those rights.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect products

Contact info@oceantowel.com.au as soon as reasonably possible with your order number, a description and photographs where helpful. Keep the product and packaging until we provide instructions. We will assess the issue and explain the available remedy and return arrangements.

Change of mind

We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind, incorrect selection or perceived colour differences caused by screen settings, except where we agree otherwise or the law requires a remedy.

Size exchanges

We may approve a size exchange at our discretion when the requested replacement is available. The product must be unused, unwashed, in original condition and returned as instructed. The customer is responsible for return and replacement shipping costs unless the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or another legal right applies.

Before returning anything

Email us before sending a product. Unauthorised returns may be delayed or returned to sender. We will provide the correct return address; do not send returns to a billing or registered address unless instructed.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where practicable. Bank and payment-provider processing times are outside our control. Original or return shipping is not refundable for a discretionary change-of-mind or size exchange, but this does not limit remedies available for a failure under Australian Consumer Law.

Gift cards and personalised goods

Gift cards and customised or personalised products are not returnable for change of mind. Rights concerning faulty, damaged or misdescribed products still apply.
